Leather Shoes: a consolidated path in the international market

    Within this context, leather shoes deserve special attention, considering that their sales abroad accounted for around 40% of the total collected by the sector in 2020, as shown by data provided by the OEC, Observatório de Complexidade Econômica. With the main destination in the United States, to which US $129 million were exported in 2018, according to the DataViva portal, these shoes also stand out in markets such as China, the United Arab Emirates, Italy and South American countries, such as Argentina and Chile.
